Allahabad city is situated in the northern part of India in the Awadh region of the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is well connected with road, rail and flights to other parts of India.

Road Connectivity

Good bus services are available in Allahabad. The state owned UPSRTC offers AC bus service to most of the cities in Uttar Pradesh. From Allahabad bus services are available to as far as Delhi (650 km) and Kolkata (800 km). However, it is advised to use train service for long distances. MNNITA campus is about 7 km from the bus stand in Civil Lines. Auto-rickshaw at about INR 200 and cab/taxi at about INR 300 are available at the bus stand .

Rail Connectivity

Main Allahabad Railway Station (ALD) is well connected to all other important cities in India. The Allahabad Junction railway station is at a distance of about 8 km from the MNNITA campus. Auto-rickshaw at about INR 200 and cab/taxi about INR 300 from the station are available. Other railway stations in and outskirt of Allahabad are Prayag (PRG)- 3.5 km, Allahabad City (ALY)- 7 km and Cheoki (COI)- 15 km. The delegates are advised to make railway reservation well in advance to avoid any rush.

Air Connectivity

Allahabad has its own domestic airport at Bamrauli (IXD) which is 15 km away from the heart of the city and 23 km from MNNIT campus. Bamrauli (IXD) has daily flights to and fro New Delhi. Hired cab/taxis at INR 600 are available outside the airport.
Air-connectivity to other parts of India is available through Lucknow (200 km) and Varanasi (135 km). The participants may also reach Allahabad via Lucknow or Varanasi by taxi/cab.
